Tally & Dell India Ink Strategic Alliance

 

 

Dell and India’s leading business application software company, Tally have announced a joint alliance program aimed at increasing the earning potential of their channel partners.

The two companies unveiled a first-of-its-kind program to create a continuous revenue potential for IT Resellers – a Dell Vostro laptop powered by the new Tally.ERP9 on a subscription model. The Tally.ERP9 subscription will be free on select Dell Vostro systems for the initial subscription period. These Vostro systems will be available only through Dell’s partner network and direct sales.

Neeraj Gupta, GM of Dell SMB India, said, “Channel partners and end-users have consistently told us that a one-stop-shop of integrated offers helps to both simplify technology and improve cash flow”.

He added, “We will work with Tally to develop and offer affordable, reliable solutions that cater to specific needs of the Indian SMBs”.

IT Resellers will have the option to signup as Dell and Tally Partners to be a part of this program. Partners will be eligible to earn quarter on quarter revenue through customer renewals of the subscription.

The two companies plan to work together to address specific channel pain points, combining two powerful brands for create easy-to-sell offerings based on end-customer demands, at competitive prices.

“Tally is known for its ‘Partner Friendly’ business model from its inception and has engaged an ecosystem of more than 6,000 Tally Partners. With this strategic alliance, we will offer even more ‘Partner Friendly’ initiatives that will create multiple revenue streams to our Partners. The program also aims at creating the subscription experience for our customers and the incidental outcome is the huge demand for such a solution”, said Kalyan Raman, member of Tally’s central leadership team.

“This tie-up reaffirms our commitment to our partners’ profitability. An important part of Dell’s global strategy is to strengthen channel relationships and equip our customers with the best combination of services and products which results in an increase in their ROI”, said Joachim Ackermann, Vice President of Business Development for Dell.

The announcement is a new initiative within Dell’s SMB outreach program and follows the recently launched Take Your Own Path campaign for SMB entrepreneurs.

Tally and Dell plan a host of initiatives as a part of their long-term relationship including expanding this model into other emerging markets.
