HP Appoints APJ VP of Enterprise Storage & Servers |

Hewlett Packard (HP) has appointed Tony Parkinson as vice president of its Enterprise Storage and Servers division for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
Parkinson previously served as Vice President and General Manager of Industry Standard Servers for HP Asia Pacific and Japan where he led the team to deliver industry-leading server storage, peripheral and infrastructure products.
In his new role, Parkinson will be tasked with leading HP’s server, storage and infrastructure business in the region.
Based in Singapore, Parkinson will be in charge of driving growth for the market-leading portfolio comprising of HP ProLiant, HP Superdome, HP Non-Stop, HP Integrity, HP StorageWorks and ESS infrastructure software.
“Tony brings to this role extensive industry expertise and a distinguished track record of ensuring his team consistently delivers the best solutions in the industry,” said Doraisamy Balu, Managing Director for HP APJ and Senior Vice President for the Technology Solutions Group in APJ and Parkinson’s direct report.
“I am confident he will serve as a key leader in enhancing the effectiveness of our enterprise operations and in helping to drive HP’s continued growth in the region.” |
