Oracle, Wipro to Jointly Market New PIPs

Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Limited has entered into an agreement with Oracle to co-develop and jointly market Process Integration Packs (PIPs) built on the Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) for Communications.

According to Oracle, Oracle’s Application Integration Architecture, based upon Oracle Fusion Middleware, delivers pre-built, extensible, mission-critical composite business processes across Oracle Communications applications including Oracle’s Siebel CRM, Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management, Oracle Communications Service Fulfillment Suite, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Communications Service Delivery, as well as third-party and legacy applications.

Process Integration Packs are pre-built products providing sustainable integrations across Oracle applications and enabling rapid implementation of a business process while reducing the cost and burden of integration.

Wipro will provide design, development and quality-assurance support to assist Oracle in developing AIA-based integrations for core operational processes in the communications industry. Wipro will also provide core development support. Additionally, Wipro will participate in joint go-to-market efforts with Oracle around these solutions.
