Electric Cloud, a provider of software production management solutions, recently announced the availability of its product line, including the ElectricAccelerator software build solution, for Microsoft’s High Performance Computing (HPC) platform.
Windows HPC Server 2008, built on 64-bit technology, can efficiently scale to thousands of processing cores and includes management consoles that help developers proactively monitor and maintain system health and stability. Job scheduling, interoperability and flexibility enables integration between Windows and Linux-based HPC platforms, and supports batch and service-oriented application (SOA) workloads.
Working with Microsoft, Electric Cloud has optimized ElectricAccelerator to work seamlessly with Windows HPC Server, so that users gain the performance and ease of use benefits of a high performance computing environment to support application development.
“Companies will benefit from both the power and efficiencies provided by the Electric Cloud solution and Windows HPC Server 2008 to enable agile development methodologies and build better software faster,” said Vince Mendillo, director of HPC at Microsoft Corp. |
