Symantec Announces 2008 Visionary Award Recipients

Symantec Corp. announced the 2008 Visionary Award winners for the Asia South region. Representing a range of industries and countries from across the region, the winners of the 2008 Visionary Awards are IT leaders from A*STAR Computational Resource Centre (Singapore), Malaysia Airlines System Berhad (Malaysia), PT Excelcomindo Pratama (Indonesia), ICICI Bank (India) and TVS Motor Company Limited & Sundaram-Clayton Limited (India).

"The exponential growth of data and the increased mobility of today's workforce present businesses with new challenges, especially when it comes to securing and managing their information," said Eric Hoh, vice president, Asia South Region and head of Global Accounts, Asia Pacific and Japan, Symantec.

Hoh adds, to stay relevant and competitive, businesses in Asia should assess and implement technology that can add value to their business.
