MOTO Q9h Connects to BlackBerry Services in East Asia

Motorola and Research In Motion (RIM) have announced the availability of BlackBerry Connect software (v4.0) on the MOTO Q9h in East Asia.

With the BlackBerry Connect software, users of the Windows Mobile 6 -based MOTO Q9h will be able to access BlackBerry services with support for BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BlackBerry Professional Software and BlackBerry Internet Service.

The BlackBerry Connect software will be offered in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Philippines and Taiwan.

“Corporate and retail customers are looking for a solution that can bring mobility advantages intimately and efficiently,” said Mark Shockley, Corporate Vice-President East Asia, Mobile Devices, Motorola.

"BlackBerry Connect software addresses our customers’ needs and will add tremendous value to the existing MOTO Q9h offering.”

BlackBerry Connect software for MOTO Q9h supports “push”-based wireless access to email, including support for wireless email reconciliation and attachment viewing through BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BlackBerry Professional Software and BlackBerry Internet Service.
