RSA, The Security Division of EMC said Monday that it has appointed a new Managing Director for the division’s South East Asia operations.
Reporting directing to the Vice President of Asia Pacific, Vincent Goh will be tasked with accelerating growth in RSA’s identity assurance business, as well as developing its growing success in the security information and event management space.
Mr. Goh, who moves to RSA from parent-company EMC, developed – and successfully doubled – EMC’s Indonesia business from 2002 to 2004. He then went on to build EMC’s Public Sector operations in Singapore, achieving notable success from 2005 to 2007.
“We are very excited to have Vincent leading the charge in South East Asia for one of the fastest-growing divisions of EMC. I am confident that his wealth of experience in business expansion and development, coupled with his astute business acumen, will serve him well in leading RSA to a new pinnacle in the region,” says Geoff Haydon, Vice President – Asia Pacific, RSA.
“Information security is a hot button in Asia today and I welcome the opportunity to grow this key asset to EMC’s business. Given the business dynamics in South East Asia and the IT-readiness of many organizations, RSA’s information-centric security approach and advanced security technology will help businesses in this region secure and protect their information assets,” said Mr. Goh.
Prior to joining RSA, Vincent spent 15 years in the industry focusing on Sales and Business Development work, including developing the OEM business for Iomega in South Asia and Business Development for Dell in APJ. |
