ASUS India Appoints New MD |

Technology manufacturer ASUS India has appointed Mr. Albert Tung as its new Managing Director.
Prior to this assignment, Mr. Albert Tung was the Country Manager for other ASUS regions like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc. He was responsible for successful penetration of ASUS products in these markets. He achieved a very high growth rate in these regions and also was responsible for the significant market share for motherboards, ODD, LCD monitors and notebook business in these territories.
Mr. Andrew Tsui, who was earlier heading ASUS India, will now be working closely with the General Manager ASUS Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions to monitor the corporate direction in this region and also to reinforce the Lean Six Sigma strategy which has always been the fundamental principle of ASUS operations. He will also be involved in consolidating the APAC operations and bringing more consistency to the service structure and human resources development.
Speaking about this appointment Mr. Benson Lin, General Manager, ASUS Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa said, “The joining of Albert Tung as a part of the ASUS India team is symbolic of our continuous commitment to boost market development while maintaining the deep-rooted values, culture and policies of ASUS.
