New Milestone for 3 in Sumatra

 

 

3, the international GSM brand from Hutchison CP Telecom (HCPT) Indonesia is making another important step to expand its coverage in Sumatra by extending its service offerings to Jambi.

Effective since yesterday, January 17, 3’s services in Jambi is said to cover important sub districts such as Muara Tembesi Muara Bulian, Bajubang, Pemayung, Mestong, Maro Sebo, Jambi Luar Kota, Sekernan, Tebo Tengah, Sumay, Muara Bungo, Bathin II Babeko, Kota Baru, Jambi Selatan, Jelutung, Pasar Jambi, and Telanaipura.

Speaking on the occasion, HCPT’s Indonesia President Director, Rajiv Sawhney said, 3’s network and services expansion to Sumatra is keeping with their commitment to making affordable mobile telephony possible for every Indonesian and is part of thier nationwide rollout plan.

"Hutchison has strong worldwide expertise in bringing exceptional value to mobile consumers in every market they have entered and we are confident that 3’s combination of strong quality network, affordability and innovative products will really make staying connected a possibility for every Indonesian," added Sawhney.

Currently, in Indonesia, 3 services are available in Java, Bali, Lombok, Batam, Bintan, Lampung, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Medan, and Jambi.

3 was launched ten months ago with the promise of making its services available nationwide. This rapid growth, 3 said, proves that it is keeping its promise whilst at the same time demonstrating that its extensive GSM coverage and more importantly affordable prices can now be further enjoyed by Indonesian users.

In Jambi, 3 will debut by offering new products, such as free SMS promo and Tarif ½ Harga, which are among its value for money solutions.
