Poll Question: What Is the Best Way to Do QA for PHP?

 

 

The International PHP Magazine conducted a new poll over the week, asking for your opinion on the best way to do QA for PHP. The options were:

  • Do unit tests using PHPUnit or phpt
  • Do API documentation
  • Use Debugging tools
  • Use code analyzers that check CS violations, XSS or SQL injection attacks
  • Have a commit mailing list and encourage peer review


The option ‘Do unit tests using PHPUnit or phpt’ has won with a majority of 55.9% votes. The option ‘Use code analyzers that check CS violations, XSS or SQL injection attacks’ is in the second position with 14.7 % votes. The option ‘Use Debugging tools
’ and ‘Have a commit mailing list and encourage peer review’ stands third with a count of 11.8 % votes. The option, ‘Do API documentation’ comes last with 5.9% votes.
