WaterProof Software has brought about the release of PHPEdit 2.10. This is a free update for all PHPEdit 2.x customers and personal license holders.
The official announcement gives five reasons to upgrade. These reasons are as follows:
- Debugger Configuration is now easier than ever: PHPEdit 2.10 introduce a nice interface to configure the debugger with ease. You can choose the possible options and configuration from a single to click Wizard.
- Multiple Debug sessions, ideal for AJAX applications: the debugger now supports multiple concurrent sessions. You can start multiple instances for example through multiple asynchronous requests and switch between them with two clicks.
- Improve performance of your scripts with our profiler: when your scripts are mission critical or you have to solve some performance problems you can use the improved profiler which is now based on xDebug.
- Take your time with writing code, not searching within it: the new search extension provides you better access to your files. You can choose between different contexts like current project, all opened files or just the current selection.
- PHPEdit gets even more stable: It is made more stable. About 300 issues with this release are solved, which will make PHPEdit the most reliable tool for your work. Additionally PHPEdit is now able to check for new updates, so you will not miss any new version.
