Microsoft India has appointed Maya Hari as the Head of Consumer Marketing. This appointment is part of Microsoft India’s continued focus on new initiatives for consumers in India.
Maya will be responsible for strengthening the marketing for Microsoft’s online brands in India-MSN India and Windows Live Services.
“We see a significant growth of internet users and time spent by the user online today. MSN India and Windows Live will bring a lot more for consumers in the next few months and this appointment is a part of our efforts to strengthen these initiatives in India.” said Jaspreet Bindra, India Country Manager, Online Services, Microsoft India.
Maya Hari comes to Microsoft with over 7 years of experience in consumer marketing, strategic planning, product line and brand launches. She began her career in strategic marketing at Schlumberger and Cisco Systems in the US. Most recently, Maya headed Brand and B2B marketing for Google South Asia.
Maya is an MBA from INSEAD, France. She completed her Masters in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Utah State University, US and her Bachelors in Telecom Engineering from VES Institute of Technology Mumbai. |
