In the lead-up to the Callisto Simultaneous Release, the Eclipse Foundation has decided to run a series of webinars about some of the projects that are included in the Callisto release. According to the foundation, the intention is to help educate people on what you can do with the different Eclipse projects. Eclipse.org has scheduled a series of 3 webinars during the month of June:
Buidling Data Centric RCP Applications on June 5 by John Graham, DTP PMC Leader and Jason Weathersby, BIRT PMC on how to use the DTP data access capability to connect to multiple data stores and then create dynamic reports using BIRT.
Developing and Profiling Web Services on June 12 by Kathy Chan, WTP and Valentian Popsescu, TPTP on using the newly updated Web services tools in WTP 1.5.
Using the Eclipse Modeling Frameworks on June 19 by Ed Merks and Richard Gronback, Eclipse Modeling Project Co-leaders on developing a domain model using EMF, defining and generating a graphical model using GEF and using model-driven development techniques within the context of the Eclipse Modeling Project.
