Altova’s XMLSPY 2006 is now optionally available completely integrated with the Eclipse development platform. According to the company, the integration allows Eclipse users to work with XML using the industry-standard XML development environment, with seamless access to XMLSPY 2006 editing views and XML development tools directly within Eclipse.

Integration with XMLSPY 2006 also lets developers use its XML Schema editor in Eclipse. The XMLSPY 2006 schema view provides an easy-to-use, graphical interface for designing, generating, converting, documenting, and validating XML Schemas. The XMLSPY 2006 also has provisions for XQuery Development and debugging XQuery.
