Eclipse 3.3's Cmd+3 Feature USeful for Keyboard-heavy Use
For those who still have not found out, the beta of Flex Builder 3 works with Eclipse 3.3 beta, says Mike Morearty.
Eclipse 3.3 offers a whole lot of cool new features, like the Cmd+3 (or Ctrl+3 on Windows), which gives you full keyboard access to every menu item, command, preference, etc., just by typing a few characters of the command. Says Morearty, that while this is nice on Windows, in Mac is it "awesome" especially if you are a keyboard heavy user.
For example, if you want to rename something but can’t remember the keyboard shortcut for rename, just type Cmd+3, “rename”. You’ll be shown a list of every command that includes that word.
