Trolltech has announced that it has joined the Eclipse Foundation, together with today’s announcement of Qt Jambi, a cross-platform, rich client application development framework for Java, which is fully integrated with the Eclipse IDE.
To organizations developing high performance, cross-platform desktop applications with Java, Qt Jambi claims to increase development efficiency, add flexibility to Java development, and offers solid, mature framework. The product seamlessly integrates with Eclipse. “Trolltech is pleased to join and contribute to the Eclipse Foundation”, said Naren Karattup, product director, developer tools, Trolltech. “As early pioneers in open source, Trolltech firmly believes in the power and innovative nature of community,” he added.
