Serena Software has announced that QualityPark will be its official European partner in the Eclipse Application Lifecycle Framework (ALF) Project from November 22. QualityPark will contribute to the goals and requirements of the project and will actively participate in the architecture Review for ALF.

QualityPark aims to bring to the project not only a European perspective, but also its experience as a system integrator and a specialist of lifecycle activity conversion. The company will work with the conversion of reference implementations and the production of web services for special lifecycle processes in the ALF project.

“As system integrators, we constantly tackle the problems of non-standardized, maintenance-intensive point-to-point integration in our projects,” said Kay Wagoner, CEO of QualityPark. “ALF is the correct approach to fulfill the daunting technical task of integration of individual tools and the actual conversion of business processes. Therefore, we will support the project actively.”

Kevin Parker, vice president of Serena and ALF evangelist, said that the first Release Candidate is planned for an October/November release.
